Cruise Ships Flock to the Isles of Scilly
Enchanting Archipelago Welcomes Tourists
Five Inhabited Islands Offer Unique Experiences
Just off the Cornish coast, the Isles of Scilly has become a popular cruise visit destination in recent years, regularly welcoming around 200 cruise ships annually.
The archipelago consists of five inhabited islands: St. Marys, Tresco, St. Martins, Bryher, and St. Agnes. Each island offers a unique experience, from tranquil beaches and picturesque harbors to historic sites and wildlife sanctuaries.
St. Marys, the largest island, is home to the main town, Hugh Town, and offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Tresco is known for its subtropical gardens, while St. Martins is a popular destination for birdwatching. Bryher and St. Agnes are smaller islands with a more secluded atmosphere.
The Isles of Scilly is easily accessible by ferry from Penzance, Cornwall, and offers a delightful escape from the mainland.
