Safety Concern Prompts Large-Scale Recall

Over 105,558 BMW vehicles are being recalled due to a potential issue with the starter motor that may fail and overheat. The recall affects various models, including the X5, X6, X7, 7-Series, 8-Series, and 3-Series.

BMW has already notified dealers about the issue and plans to mail notices to affected customers on September 23, 2024. If you own one of the affected vehicles, it is recommended to schedule an appointment with your dealer to have the starter motor inspected and replaced if necessary.
