Bob's Stores Going Out of Business
All Locations Closing
Connecticut Includes Tax-Free Sales Event
Bob's Stores, a discount clothing and shoe retailer with several locations in Connecticut, announced on Monday that it will close all of its locations as part of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring plan.
The company's Going Out of Business sales began on Friday, June 28th, with discounts of up to 75% off. In addition, Connecticut is currently holding a tax-free sales event from August 1st to 7th, which means shoppers can save even more on their purchases at Bob's Stores.
Bob's Stores has been in business for over 70 years, but has been struggling in recent years due to declining sales and increased competition from online retailers. The company filed for bankruptcy protection in March 2023 and announced plans to close all of its stores.
