Middletown, CT - August 9, 2024 - Bob's Stores has announced the closure of all its locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. The decision comes after the struggling retailer failed to secure financing to continue operations.

The following Bob's Stores locations will be closing:
- 416 East Main St, Middletown, CT
- 195 Cherry St, Milford, CT
Sales Tax Holiday
Despite the store closures, the sales tax holiday for Massachusetts will still be held on Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11. Shoppers will be able to take advantage of the state's 6.25% sales tax break during that weekend.
